Location: Gålå is located west of Gudbrandsdalen, just south of Vinstra. The cross-country area is a part of what is called The Peer Gynt-kingdom and offers together with Fefor, Espedalen, Lauvåsen, Fagerhøy, Skei and Kvitfjell a track network at 630 km.
Landscape: The low-lying tracks go through the forest. Higher the tracks lay over the tree line.

Lowest point: Gålåvannet 750 mos.
Season: The first cross-country tracks are made in the transition between October and November, but the whole track network opens near Christmas. The sesaon ends in May.
