Kvitfjell and Gålå

 

KVITFJELL   Destination Kvitfjell is Lillebror to Hafjell. There are approx. 35 km. between the two destinations and many of our guests at Hafjell, the trip to the beautiful trails. On the east side you will find the trails that ran downhill at the Olympics in 1994 and from the middle station and up will find the most snow sure slopes and trails in the area. The season states in mid-November and ends in mid-April and is very snow secure. On the west side of Kvitfjell is developing new chairlifts and trails / pistes started and will be completed over the coming years. Kvitfjell is a very hospitable destination and Norwegian Cabin Rental is happy to recommend a stay at Kvitfjell. Gålå   On Gålå Ski Arena, you can run in the hills with difficulty levels ranging from green to black. Green is very easy, blue is light, red is demanding and black is very demanding. On Gålå is 630 km trails, 15 alpine trails and terrain own site for snowboard and ski club for kids. We offer 1 black, 3 red, 5 blue and 6 green slopes. We have at times a lot of practice groups, but we guarantee free training hills at. 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. each day. It will be fine against the hills at Gålå whether or King winter comes with snow or not. Now expanded snow production facility in Rolling Mountain so that 60% of alpine plant is covered with artificial snow. The venture will also result in expansion of the ski slopes, and an improvement of ski offer for all ski happy guests. Runs and lifts are linked together so that you can run from one side to another, and all the way back again without clamping the skis of you. You can also run right up to the door at the hotel or cottage with skis on.
