The story of Pellestova in brief:
Pelle skalmstad was born in the Islands 27 April 1919. In 1946 he accepted the first guests on Pellestova, then in a small cabin that was moved there from Skåden farm in the islands. Eventually he developed Pellestova to a very popuær lodge. Pelle married Embjørg and together they drove to the lodge Pelle died in 1990. Embjørg and Pelle welcomed guests from all over Norway and it was not the few who considered themselves Regulars at Pellestova. Everyone had a close relationship with the popular host and thus were rumors about how nice it was Pellestova. After the death of Pelle the company was sold and lodge was operated on.
