The best ski slopes in the world – and much more!

At Kvitfjell Ski Resort you will find slopes for the elite and slopes for beginners in a unique atmosphere of comfort and coziness.

The snow in the mountains of Gudbrandsdalen is guaranteed. Kvitfjell Ski Resort is one of the first ski resorts to open each year, and among the last to close. You can be sure there is always enough snow to play in.

Kvitfjell is famous for the green, wide slopes where children and beginners can enjoy themselves, but also the black slopes with Olympic standards. It is this mountain Kjetil Jansrud trained to become the world’s best alpinist. Every winter he and the rest of the world’s alpine elite come to Kvitfjell to train for, and compete in the World Cup.

Family friendly

The whole family can enjoy themselves in Kvitfjell. Children’s areas can be found on both sides of the mountain, with lifts and slopes well adapted for the children’s best skiing experience. Try the slalom course where children can turn between soft and cute figures, play in “Snørøverland” or become part of the junior ski patrol.

In “Snørøverland” (the home of Snow Pirates), situated on the east side, the young Snow Pirates can play all day long. Participate in treasure hunts in Snørøverskogen, join Snow Pirate expeditions, try the small jumps, slalom between gates, or relax in the Snow Pirate Fort – a warm lounge. For children who want to help out in the Ski Resort, they can assign for Kvitfjell’s own Junior Ski Patrol where the young patrollers get their own vest, walkie talkie, and beneficial coupons that ensure favourable hot drink prices in the cafés and restaurants.

For small and big alpine stars

The west side of the mountain is called the “sunny side” and is very family friendly. Here you will find Kvitfjell’s other children’s area – wide slopes and easy lifts. Try the green terrain park especially designed for small park enthusiasts or try the children’s own world cup slope. The mini version of the world cup slope has a real start port, gates and timing. Be an alpine star for a day and challenge family and friends on the Children’s World Cup slope! The children’s area on the west side will be expanded with a new magic carpet for next season.

When the children want bigger challenges, they can try out Kvitfjell’s terrain parks with jumps and rails in all shapes, sizes and degrees of difficulty. The park is also known for being adventurous, playful and ready for new jumps and tricks every day.

Relax and breathe

Kvitfjell is a place for enjoyment and relaxation. Relax in front of the fireplace, in the cabin with the family, in the lounge at GudbrandsGard hotel, in the pool, at the spa or at one of the child friendly restaurants. Kvitfjell is proud to be a destination free from junk- and deep fried food. Instead, Kvitfjell offers exciting food at all eateries inspired by Gudbrandsdalen’s lush hillsides. There are service locations on both sides of the mountain, where you can rent your skis or get lift tickets.

Kvitfjell has a unique atmosphere, and mixes the best of skiing with the premier of coziness.
